THORNDALE ISD

The first Community Involvement meeting for TISD was held on Wedneday, October 9, 2024! We’re grateful for the 15 community members who are joining us this year. They got a first-hand look at the Thorndale Elementary campus, heard from students, spoke with TES Principal Shannon Morrison, and reviewed the latest Bond updates. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Shout out to the TES Student Council members for speaking to our committee and to Mrs. Jones and Mrs. McAnulty for helping them prepare!

On Wednesday, December 11th, we held our second Community Involvement meeting, with a focus on the Middle School campus. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from several students and Principal Frei about the amazing things happening at TMS.

The group also got to see the Outdoor Rec class in action during their Archery unit—a fantastic showcase of our students' learning experiences!

The meeting wrapped up with district-wide updates shared by Mr. Kleypas.

Wednesday, February 26^th, we held our final Community Involvement meeting, focusing on the High School! Members had the opportunity to hear from high school students and Mr. Betak, gaining valuable insight into student experiences and campus initiatives.
