TISD WiFi Hotspot Agreement & Check Out

Middle and High School Students, 

  1. WiFi devices will be checked out from Mrs. Quebe in the THS Media area. Activity is usually the best time. 
  2. WiFi devices are checked out for ONE WEEK AT A TIME. (ex: check out on Monday and return the following Monday). 
  3. If there are enough devices available you may request to recheck out a device but you must have the device in hand. 
  4. Please reference the handbook to understand all expectations for WiFi devices and AUP.  If there is damage there will be a $25 replacement fee. 
  5. WiFi device, case, charger, and charging cube must all be returned at time of check in or renewal. 
  6. If Mrs. Quebe is unavailable, you may email lindsay.franklin@thorndale.txed.net to request a hotspot prior to 2:30 pm to allow time to get to campus to assist. 

TES Students,

  • A parent must contact Lindsay Franklin (512.898.2538) at the Administration building to request a WiFi hotspot be sent home with their student. I will verify with principal and teacher of the educational need for a device to be sent home. 
  • WiFi devices are checked out for ONE WEEK AT A TIME and returned to the front office. (ex: check out on Monday and return the following Monday). *Exceptions will be made for students that are quarantined due to Covid - device will be expected to be turned in upon return to school. 
  • Please reference the handbook to understand all expectations for WiFi devices and AUP.  If there is damage there will be a $25 replacement fee. 
  • WiFi device, case, charger, and charging cube must all be returned at time of check in or renewal. 
  • Renewal of hotspots – Parent must request again but hotspot must be turned in prior to checking out.
